Fawn Whiting graduated with her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 2009. She also holds a bachelor’s in human kinetics from UBC. Fawn has completed manual therapy courses including a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Perth, Australia in 2011, and Certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy in Melbourne in 2018. She has completed additional courses in functional movement assessment, exercise prescription, Stott Pilates, and Active Release Therapy (ART). She is certified to practice Acupuncture (AFCI) and Functional Dry Needling (Kinetacore). She is currently completing her pelvic health training with Pelvic Health Solutions and will be taking pelvic floor physiotherapy patients in early 2019.
Fawn has been working in private practice since she graduated. She combines manual therapy with exercise and education for all of her patients. She welcomes all patients and particularly enjoys helping people stay active and reach their health and fitness goals.
Outside of work, Fawn is active in the sport of triathlon and has raced in the Professional field for Ironman and long course triathlon events. She previously ran the marathon for UBC’s varsity team and holds the UBC women’s marathon record. In her spare time, Fawn can be found walking the trails at Thetis Lake with her adventurous puppy Jordie.
