This seminar has been designed for the practicing Doctor interested in gaining greater knowledge and understanding of advances made in Musculoskeletal  imaging. Therefore, this interactive session will use a case based approach and more importantly, provide discussion in reviewing common and uncommon conditions seen in the ambulatory setting. We will discuss a brief review of treatment options on select cases.  

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:

– Be able to discuss imaging techniques and modalities best used in the diagnosis of various conditions. Provide accurate assessment of abnormalities seen in the spine, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and wrist.

– The participants will be able to recognize the advanced imaging findings associated with common conditions seen in the ambulatory setting.

– The creation and interpretation of diagnostic imaging reports will become more accurate. 

 

About the speaker

Trevor H. Foshang, DC, DACBR
Dean, College of Chiropractic
Northwestern Health Sciences University

Dr. Foshang was born in Canada where he completed his undergraduate training at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  He completed his Doctoral Training in Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Following graduation from Logan University, Trevor moved to Dallas, Texas for his subspecialty training in radiology. Trevor completed his residency in diagnostic imaging and returned to Thunder Bay were he practiced for several years before leaping back into the classroom. His 10 years of teaching was preparation to assume a leadership role at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota as the Dean, College of Chiropractic.

He is scheduled to participate in the panel discussion “Are X-rays still the standard of care in chiropractic?” at WFC/ECU Congress in Berlin 2019
