Cathy is a registered physiotherapist who combines her orthopaedic and pelvic health training and experience to best serve her patients. Cathy has taken many post-graduate courses in orthopaedics run by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has completed her intermediate level exam (RCAMPT equivalent). She has completed seven post graduate pelvic health courses, including the assessment and treatment of incontinence, low back pain, sacroiliac joint (SIJ) dysfunction, pelvic pain, ano-rectal dysfunction and prenatal and postnatal care. She has a strong interest in staying up-to-date with the latest research and has also been invited to do many public and professional talks regarding pelvic health and safe exercise during and after pregnancy. She has also obtained her Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (AFCI) AA1, AA2 and CAFI certificate in acupuncture training and levels 1 and 2 of Functional Dry Needling/IMS from Kinetacore.
Throughout the duration of her career, Cathy plans to continue to persue further advancement in her knowledge and skill set to treat orthopaedic, pelvic health and persistent pain conditions. Outside of her work life, Cathy enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling and has a love for animals and the enviroment.
